North Carolina Press Service is seeking a driven Sales Representative to join our team. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling print and digital ad campaigns to new prospects across North Carolina. This role requires an entrepreneurial spirit, motivation, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

Prospect and generate new leads to expand our client base.

Sell print and digital ad campaigns to businesses, ad agencies, and state departments across North Carolina.

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and objectives.

Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.

Work collaboratively with our team to achieve company goals.

Conduct cold calls, attend networking events, and utilize various prospecting techniques to drive sales.

Administer media planning and placement from start to finish for all clients, including clerical work (insertion orders, ad delivery, tearsheeting, invoicing)

Requirements:

Proven track record in sales with an active book of clients in print and digital media buys.

Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work without direct supervision.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Positive attitude, team player, and highly motivated.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Familiarity with media advertising, print, and digital platforms is a plus.
