CNHI, a newspaper publishing company, is thinking about selling its newspapers. The company's papers reach 22 states. The idea came about after CNHI's parent company, Raycom Media, announced it was going to be acquired by Gray Television group. The deal does not include CNHI's newspapers.
The firm Dirks, Van Essen, Murray and April will be in charge of selling the 100 newspapers that CNHI owns and is hoping to find buyers that will continue with the strong traditions of "award-winning journalism" that CNHI has upheld since 1997.
According to Dirks, Van Essen, Murray and April, the company looks forward to exploring various options and finding a partner that will support community journalism.
