Texas newspapers demand 'reasonable gun control' after school massacre

Texas’ largest newspapers demanded more than thoughts and prayers on Tuesday, just hours after a gunman massacred 21 people at an elementary school, including 19 children.

The Houston Chronicle’s editorial board blasted Gov. Greg Abbott (R) for saying the shooter “incomprehensibly” killed nearly two dozen people at Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, a city of about 15,200 some 80 miles west of San Antonio.
