How it works

What is the North Carolina Display Ad Network ? The North Carolina 2x2/2x4 Display Ad Network is an easy and affordable advertising option to buy multiple markets and increase your profits through North Carolina newspapers.   Your ad will be published one time in each of the participating newspapers during the week you select, based on a Monday through Sunday schedule. The flexibility of day of publication determined by each newspaper allows you a low network rate. Your ad appears all week in various markets!

It's Easy... Simply contact the nearest participating newspaper to place your ad. They can place the order and assist you in putting your information in pdf format for a 2-column by 2-inch or 4-inch black/white ad. If there is not a participating newspaper in your area, you may contact North Carolina Press Services at 919-789-2083.

It's Affordable… $1475 puts your 2x2 ad in over 70 North Carolina newspapers. You reach over 1.4 million readers! The network is comprised of daily newspapers and community newspapers (publish weekly; bi-weekly; or semi-weekly). Quite an efficient advertising buy!

Regional Placement… For select marketing, you may buy either Eastern NC or Western NC. While expanding your market, regional buys make it convenient for distribution of your product. Eastern NC 2x2: $925. Western NC 2x2: $715.

Make it a 2x4…. For double the cost of your statewide or regional ad, you can place a 2-column by 4-inch ad on the network. Statewide: $2950; Eastern: $1850; Western: $1430

It's Effective… By placing your ad in the North Carolina Display AdNetwork, your message will reach over a million newspaper readers! Your ad can also be placed in similar state display ad networks across the country. Ask your newspaper representative for details. One order, one payment convenience!

Advertising Deadlines… All ads and payments are due at the NCPS office by 3 p.m. EST Wednesday prior to your Monday through Sunday week of publication. Based on approval, payments may be made with check or credit card. Any ad payment discrepancy should be resolved within 30 days of publication of first week of advertising.

Proof of Publication… NCPS will provide two sample tearsheets for each advertising placement. NCPS will also issue a proof of publication certificate that verifies monitoring of network ad placement and guarantee of 90% placement of total combined circulation.

Copy Specifications… The black & white ad measurement is 3.22 inches wide (2 columns) by 2 (or 4) inches deep. If a newspaper format varies, each newspaper will size to fit their column widths..

Advertising Restrictions… NCPS and each participating newspaper reserves the right to edit all copy submitted, and to reject that which is not in compliance with state and federal regulations, is in poor taste, offensive, false or misleading, deceptive or otherwise unacceptable.
