Membership Information

Membership in NCPA is open to any newspaper publishing at least once per week in North Carolina. Eligible newspapers need not hold second class mailing permits, but they must contain at least 25 percent news content. Eligibility begins after newspapers have published at least once a week, consistently, for at least one year.

Companies and organizations with an interest in newspapers may apply for membership as associate members.
