NCPA Legal Hotline

The Legal Hotline provides employees of member newspapers access to legal advice, paid for by association dues.

The hotline covers all topics, from sunshine laws to libel to court closures, tax, newsprint, advertising, labor and employment issues, and just about anything imaginable and unimaginable.

The legal hotline puts newspaper personnel in touch with lawyers, retained by NCPA to help with problems, answer questions, and offer opinions for news stories.

For more information about the Open Meetings Law and the services of the legal hotline, visit www.ncmedialaw.com.

Every other month, NCPA's attorneys write a legal column for NCPA's publication, The North Carolina Press.
